I finally got my treadmill assembled and did my first workout this morning. I dawdled too long for the Oppo fitness chsllenge, so I will have to challenge myself. I am in terrible shape now, but I am determined to get better. My goal is to lose 50 lbs by the JCCS in September. Can I do it? We will see.

Remember, exercise is only half the battle. Diet is pretty important too.
You can do this!

The Mrs. and I started logging food and exercise with an app, which will conveniently scan upcs to grab nutritional information. We started in November and I am 25 lbs down with fairly casual exercise due to kiddos. You got this!

I’ve worked out on and off since college, but due to a stressful, sedentary office job, gained a fair amount of weight. I’ve been diligent for the last 4-5 months with running on a treadmill, working out, and trying to eat better/less. So far I’ve lost about 30 and would like to lose another 20 at least. I’m plateaued at the moment though.
My wife bought me a fitbit for Christmas which I actually like more than I thought I would. Namely, it revealed just how little I move in a typical workday, which in turn results in me running more.
